YES!  So our song contest is THIS FRIDAY!!! Whoo-hoo!  I am super excited because it's my first, and last, song contest.  I watched the one last year, wanting to go to Kamehameha so that I could sing with them.  Well, here I am now, two days away from my wish.  And our class sounds wonderful.

This years theme is the songs by John  Kameaaloha Almeida.   Our co-ed song is Maile Swing and our womens song is 'O Ku'u Aloha Ia 'Oe and our mens song is Iseu o Kanaka Waiwai I believe.  Our songs sound great.  I heard that the juniors and sophomores songs are going well too.  I'm super nervous though.

On another note, my friend is coming to Hawaii for a week from Portland, Oregon.  I'm super excited to see her because I haven't seen her since last years school let out.  I just hope that we get to see each other before break lets out.

I also hope that I could meet up with friends with my old school too.  Some left the school like me, while others stayed at the school.  I'm planning to have an "outing" with them soon.  :)

And I finally get to see one of my newer friends over the break.  :) Hopefully.   We met via a teacher we had/have.  Then we started talking on Facebook and we became really good friends.

Ok I'm sitting here in my school library with my friend and we're reading random stuff off of facebook. And making som random stuff up.  I'm not quite sure why I'm not doing something productive, but whatever.

So I will be discussing some of the finer points in why Twilight is NOT the best series out there.

1. Stephanie Myers completely ignores the fact that traditional vampires can not be invited into the homes of the mortals.

2. Vampires do not sparkle.

3. What happens when Bella gets her period?  Does Edward freak out?

4. Edward is an abusive being.  Nay, abusive subbeing.  He's not even a gentleman.

5. I would have more if I could think right now
