Ok this week I really have to crack down on the homework.  I have two projects due next week, one for English and one for Hawaiian history.

The English project is due on the 28, next week, and it is a Historical Fiction paper.  For it, I chose to do the Japanese Internment camps during World War 2.  I mainly chose it because I don't know a lot about it and only until recently learned about a period of history that I didn't know exsisted.  Which proves that FDR is a sexist and racist.  Sexist because he didn't do jack when the women of 1920 wanted equality, racist because he put the Japanese into camps not knowing if everyone put there were loyal to Japan or not.

The Hawaiian History "project" is due on Monday.  This was told to us by our teacher that it was going to be held on a high standard just because it was a group assignment and because we'll have two and a half full days to work on it.  I swear my teacher is nuts.

We also have another two projects for our Hawaiian History class.  One that is due May 8 and the other due on the last few days of classes.  The one due on May 8 is a paper that we have to write a "thesis" paper that reflects a certain part of Hawaiian history.  I ended up choosing the statehood of Hawaii because it seemed like an easy thing to write about.  Now that I think about it, I think I have a good idea of what to write about.  YAY ME!  :)

The other project is a cultural immersion project where we have to submerse ourselves in a Hawaiian mentality and do something that relates to Hawaiian history.  I'm going to be doing artwork that reflex who I am as a Hawaiian.  I'm actually real excited about this.

I have a speech project too and it is broken up into different due dates.  We start doing our speeches the second week of May.  Its a product speech and we have to have a speech, podcast, movie, and powerpoint.  Crazy no?  I don't mind this because it is broken into different due dates.

Well I best be getting started.  Lots to do and little time left in doing so.
